Largely self-taught generalist in technology and systems - I have worked in libraries, archives and museums as well as one technology company that provided interactive kiosks for educational museums. In my current role at the Wolfsonian - FIU in Miami I have been working to create a common image database that brings together the collections of museum objects and the traditional catalog of the rare books and periodicals library. (http://digital.wolfsonian.org) I'm a recent transplant to Miami - interested in iguanas, manatees, metadata and swimming in the ocean.
