My Ph.D. is in American Studies and I am a longstanding ASA member.I have written about photography and visual culture for many years and curated exhibitions in art and history museums. I teach American Cultural History, History of Photography, Popular Culture, Visual Culture, and intensive writing topics. I am surprised that students capable of designing programs and building websites often know so little about the array of knowledge available on the web.
